The Isigny AOP butter is produced only in a small area in Normandy. It is the result of churning of the best Isigny creams. The flavors and aromas of the cream is gained during a critical step: the slow and traditional maturation. The cream rests for 16 to 18 hours and with the greatest respect of the tradition after then it's churned.
This butter gets its magnificent golden yellow color from the quality of the grass with which the cows feed. Here's an important fact, Isigny butter is fresh and never have been frozen!
FLAVOR: With a golden buttercup colour the Isigny butter is warm and enticing. Its rich taste stays a long in the mouth and you can feel the crystals of salt under the tooth.
