This wine comes from a small appellation in Languedoc, but 100% mourvèdre is illegal there, thus, the winery declassified it to "Vin de France“ and hid its origin!
Smouldering plum, wild blackberry, perfumed blueberry is scented with scrubby rosemary and thorns, finishing with a wash of salinity and dusting of pepper. Tannins are sticky, but well-absorbed into the medium plus, fleshy body.
