Mozzarella is perhaps Italy’s most famous cheese.

This is fresh and flown into Ontario every week, which J'adore receives.  It’s often denoted with a “DOP” status, a label to show that it’s made entirely in its region of origin: Campania.   Buffalo mozzarella is a fresh, soft, semi-elastic textured cheese belonging to the "pasta filata" family.

The process of making pasta filata cheese includes heating the curd to a point where it can be stretched and formed into various shapes. This gives the snowy white mozzarella a mild yet slightly sour taste.
