The majority of the Gruner Veltliner grapes for this dry white were grown on the steep, rocky terraces of Rohrendorf in Kremstal and the surrounding area. The löss soil on these steep terraces is rich in lime and sediments from the last ice age. It can be up to 35 metres thick! The trellis system is high up. The grapes were organically produced and hand harvested
Delicate aromas of honey, apricot and white spice. The palate has more stone fruit flavours and a soft, appealing texture. Mineral, stony characters are balanced by fresh citrus acidity and a hint of spice.
